I had a great experience working with Phil. He was extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and took the time to clearly explain the licensing requirements related to our situation. His expertise made a potentially confusing issue very straightforward, and he was quick to jump in and support us when we needed it most. It’s rare to find someone who is both highly experienced and genuinely willing to help—Phil delivered on both. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing guidance in this area.

Contractor License Guru is absolutely amazing. The program didn’t just help me pass it prepared me as a contractor and gave me knowledge I’ll use for a lifetime. Everything is explained clearly and in a way that actually sticks, not just memorization. I went in confident, passed both exams on the first try, and walked out feeling more prepared for the real world, not just the exam room. If you want long-term understanding and real confidence in your career, this is 100% worth it.

Thank you, Phil. Even a paperwork procrastinator like me can become a fully licensed and legit contractor in California with your help. You explained all the confusing forms in a way that actually made sense, helped me revise my application so it wouldn’t get rejected, and answered every one of my questions along the way. Truly appreciate it!

Phil was so easy to work with. He communicated wonderfully and was patient with me when I failed to respond to emails. Our situation with CSLB licensing was not super straight forward and he had answers immediately and worked hard for us to get things done right. Highly recommend.

Phil did a great job helping me get my b2 contractor license. He is very knowledgeable and knew things the other schools were incorrect about, he answers the email and phone almost immediately and handled everything for me for a reasonable fee. Definitely the best school if you can't decide, I've heard from my friends they had bad experiences from the other ones.

An Exceptional Service—Truly the Best in the Business Contractor License Guru is, without question, the most professional and knowledgeable resource available for anyone navigating the CSLB licensing process. Whether you're obtaining your initial license or adding a classification, this is the team you want by your side. The study materials provided were incredibly comprehensive—far more thorough than I anticipated. Thanks to their precision and relevance, I passed both of my exams on the first attempt. In fact, I’d estimate that over 85% of the questions on the actual exam mirrored the content in the Guru’s materials. What sets Contractor License Guru apart isn’t just the quality of their tools, but the expertise and responsiveness behind them. This isn’t just a company—it’s a well-oiled, results-driven support system led by someone who truly understands how to get things done and get them done right. If you’re serious about your license, skip the guesswork—this is the gold standard.

Phil really is a guru. Working with him was amazing, he always answered any questions I had (and I had a lot) and was prompt in doing so. He broke down all the following steps and made sure I knew what was going to happen next. Highly recommend him for the contracting process, and anything else CSLB related.
